Homero Aguilar, Colombian Painter We are pleased to introduce three new original oil paintings by renowned Colombian artist, Homero Aguilar. Aguilar is known for his thought provoking, highly detailed, geometrically precise scenes of surreality. Aguilar’s art invariably provokes myriad questions and reflections.
Once transported into his ingenious world, all association with established concepts of reality must be questioned and eventually surrendered to this strange-yet-familiar place of dreams. Available works by Homero Aguilar may be viewed on our website here. Today Homero Aguilar’s work is sought after by collectors all over the world. His complete biography may be viewed here.
Yasuko Nakamura,
The intense connection between Nakamura and the art she creates has never been so apparent than in her most recent body of work now at Galleria Silecchia. Organic in form and vibrant in color, these new variations beautifully express the connection between artist and art.
Yasuko Nakamura is an artist holistically devoted to her craft. As Nakamura herself explains, “I can only work with clay when my mind and ego are at peace. This perpetuates a free form in my clay work and unites my body and soul with the clay… My ultimate endeavor is to convey my inner peace with Nature and to share this phenomenon.” Since leaving Japan almost twenty years ago, Nakamura has been “traveling, visiting, and working with many artists and cultures” in a constant quest to “push beyond the traditional parameters of pottery.” Her biography may be read by clicking here. Ron Strong American Painter Galleria Silecchia is pleased to offer four powerful new paintings by Abstract painter Ron Strong. Strong has found much of his influence in the Buddhist notion of a common bond between Zen and the art of painting.
