Dedication Ceremony will take place at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia

“Irish Memorial,” Glenna Goodacre has created “Inspirations”,

The “Irish Memorial”
commemorates the 150th Anniversary of the Great Hunger and the Irish who
perished as well as those who survived—immeasurably enriching the history
and culture of the United States.
The “Irish Memorial” is a sweeping 3-part narrative with over 35 life-sized
figures that first, documents the starvation and death in Ireland, second,
the perilous journey to America and finally, the arrival in a new land with
the hope of a better life.
